I can understand a blurb to entice the reader, but not a chapter. One key message for writers is not just to think about the possibilities but to work hard at the details fo each of these important pages. But it's especially important for children's literature--again, any genre! By the way, I am reading Karen's book on writing for children and am finding tidbit after tidbit that I will eventually put to good use. Promise!
