is up and running.Have you checked them out yet?
PiBoIdMo and NaNoWriMo are fun and challenging.There is no
charge to participate.Even if you don’t finish, you will probably learn something
from the experience that will help you move forward with your writing.
You can organize your own kick-off party for PiBoIdMo.There
is a three page handout to get you started.It’s filled with great ideas from

Some libraries have gotten involved with NaNoWriMo.This

Perhaps groups in your own community are planning events to be held in November.

I'm signed up for NaNoWriMo!
Debbie, every year i say maybe, but then don't do it. This year I'm not even going to say maybe. Too much on my plate. One year . . .
I've done NaNoWriMo for the last five years, but this year I'm going to take the opportunity to completely edit and revise one of my novels, since now I have a lot of rough drafts in need of polishing. I feel a little sad not to be doing the traditional 50000 words, but I think this is right for me. And if any of you are thinking about Nanowrimo, go for it! It's a wonderful experience.
