I love this post. Holiday gift guides are a promotion idea I include in my The Frugal Book Promoter, second edition. They do so much more than try to sell books! Thank you, Karen. I, of course, tweeted and let my FB pals know about this.

Best,

What wonderful gift ideas! For someone really special, the new $79 Kindle pre-loaded with a few of these would be a superb gift.

This is a great list of books, something for everyone on your list. The Cancer Prayer Book is an awesome gift book to buy and keep on hand any time of year for that needed gift for a friend or family member that is diagnosed with Cancer.
Thanks for posting, all of the books are awesome presents and would be much appreciated.

Great gift ideas. My husband was just asking me what I wanted for Christmas. Books of course! Now I can just send him the link to this post.

Looks like I've solved my Christmas present problems for great-niece and nephew. Day's End Lullaby has so many five star reviews on Amazon too. Obviously a good choice. :-)

I can already wholeheartedly recommend the books by Maggie Ball and Carolyn Howard Johnson and am so looking forward to reading the other choices from the list.

You get $79 Kindles? Ours in U.K.cost £89 for the cheapest and I'm told no e-readers are available in Australia. Can that be right?

@KarenCV, I am including a link to this article in the feature article of my #SharingwithWriters newsletter. Maybe that's a lesson that a great blog permalink never dies!

Carolyn Howard-Johnson said...

PS: I just put this on Google Plus, too, with a little pitch for subscribing to my newsletter! There's a freebie for subscribers! (http://howtodoitfrugally.com). A signup form is in the top right corner of most every page of the site.
